MEDICINES FOR KELOID SCARS
Anagallis arvensis
Possesses power of
softening flesh and destroying keloid tissues. Take both internally and
externally.
Calendula officinalis
Calendula is effective for keloids that have formed following skin
injuries or cuts from surgical operations. Promotes favorable cicatrization ,
and prevents keloid formation. Heal superficial burns and scalds with least
scar tissue formation. Apply mother tincture externally.
Causticum
Keloid formation following burns. Cicatrices freshen up, old injuries
open, leading to keloid formation. Old burns that do not get well, and ill
effects from burns.
Flouric acid
Keloids with itching. Worse by warmth. Profuse, sour, offensive
perspiration. Feels as if burning vapor were emitted from pores.
Graphites
Early stage of keloid.
Aids absorption of keloid tissues. Rough, hard, persistent dry skin. History of
skin diseases. Cracks in nipples, mouth, between toes, anus.
Nitric acid
Keloids with splinter-like pains. Keloids with zigzag, irregular edges,
looks like raw flesh. Very sensitive. Sometimes bleeds. Highly offensive urine,
smells like horse’s urine.
Silicea
Keloid growths. Painful keloids. Scars suddenly become painful.
Delicate, pale, waxy skin prone to felons, abscesses, boils, old fistulous
ulcers. Profuse offensive sweat on feet, hands, axillae. Sensitive to cold air.
Thiosinaminum
A resolvent,
externally and internally. A powerful medicine for dissolving scar tissue.
Thuja occidentalis
Keloid formation at vaccination sites. Very sensitive to touch.
