AVENA SATIVA

Avena sativa is one of the best remedies for drug addiction. It is effective for the bad effects of morphine or heroin addiction. It is a good remedy for those addicted to cocaine, marijuana, nerviness, tranquilizers or sedatives. Insomnia due to drug s or alcohol. Sleeplessness with nervous exhaustion and weakness.

NUX VOMICA

Nux vomica is effective for the bad effects of alcohol, tobacco, opium, coffee, wine etc. The patient is nervous and highly irritable.  Headache and intoxicated feeling. Dyspepsia, nausea and vomiting, constipation are other leading symptoms.

MORPHINUM

Morphinum is used for the bad effects of over use of drugs. Mentally the patient is depressed and behaves in a dream-like state. Vertigo and dizziness on least movement of head. Face is dusky red or pallid lividity of face, lips, tongue, mouth, or throat. Violent throbbing in heart and carotids. Alternation of tachycardia and bradycardia.

COFFEA

Severe insomnia due to drug addiction. Hyperactivity of mind and body. Increases the sensibility of nerves, making them over excitable and over sensitive. Special senses become over acute, emotions especially joy and pleasurable surprise, produces dangerous symptoms. Now joyous, now gloomy. Coffea removes the bad effects of sleeping pills.

CANNABIS INDICA

Exaltation of spirits. Constant fear of becoming insane. Horror of darkness. Absent minded, forgetful. Emotions and sensations are exaggerated.

BELLADONNA

Fear of darkness and vision of ghosts as a result of drug addiction.  Desire to escape or hide himself. Acuteness of all senses.  Changeable moods. Hallucinations, sees monsters, hideous faces. Spit on faces of other persons. Easily angered.

HYOSYAMUS NIGER

Headache from narcotic addiction. Hallucinations most marked. Talks with imaginary persons to dead ones. Imagines things are animals. Inclined to laugh at everything. Does foolish things, behaves like mad. Laughs, sings, talks, babbles and quarrels.

SULPHUR

Sulphur antidotes the bad effects of Cannabis addiction. Sulphur patient express sadness and melancholy. They imagine himself a great man. Strong impulsive tendency to suicide by drowning or leaping from a window.

LACHESIS

Headache from narcotics addiction. The patient is highly talkative. Sensation of tension in various parts. Cannot bear anything tight anywhere. Sensation of constriction in throat, abdomen and head.

PULSATILLA NIGRICANS

Diarrhea from heroin addiction. Changeable stools, no two stools alike.

PASSIFLORA INCARNATA

Sleeplessness due to drug addiction.  Effective for morphine addiction. Give mother tincture doses.

OPIUM

Drowsiness and coma from drug addiction. The patient falls into a heavy deep sleep. Thinks he is not at home. Sees frightful visions of mice, scorpions. Perversion of all senses. Euphoric state, overexcitement and sleeplessness.

VIPERA

HOMEOPATHY FOR BUNION

A bunion is a painful bony bump that develops on the inside of the foot at the big toe joint. Bunions are often referred to as hallux valgus.

BENZOIC ACID: An important remedy for bunion. Tearing pain in big toe. Urinary symptom is very important for the selection of this remedy.The urine is hot , dark brown, offensive, similar to horse’s urine.

RHODODENDRON: Bunion with gout. Swelling and tearing pain. Worse from rest. Cannot sleep unless legs are crossed. Pain in Achilles tendon on stepping.

HYPERICUM PERF: Bunion with tingling and burning pain. Joints feel bruised.

PREVENTION

The best way to reduce the chances of developing bunions is to wear shoes that fit properly. Shoes that are too tight or have high heels can force your toes together.

Make sure your shoes are the correct size and that there is enough space to move your toes freely.

It is best to avoid wearing shoes with high heels or pointy toes

Calendula officinalis

Causticum

Graphites

Early stage of keloid. Aids absorption of keloid tissues. Rough, hard, persistent dry skin. History of skin diseases. Cracks in nipples, mouth, between toes, anus.

Nitric acid

Keloids with splinter-like pains. Keloids with zigzag, irregular edges, looks like raw flesh. Very sensitive. Sometimes bleeds. Highly offensive urine, smells like horse’s urine. 

Silicea

Keloid growths. Painful keloids. Scars suddenly become painful. Delicate, pale, waxy skin prone to felons, abscesses, boils, old fistulous ulcers. Profuse offensive sweat on feet, hands, axillae. Sensitive to cold air.

Thiosinaminum

Aconitum lycotonum

Hard tuberculous pimples on the face. Pimples on lips.

Agaricus muscarius

Pimples hard, like flea bites.

Antimonium sulphuratum auratum

Pustular acne. Itching of hands and feet.

Antimonium crudum

Pimples on the face, shoulders, especially in fat person. Sensitive to cold bathing. Thick, hard, honey-colored scabs. Dry skin and indigestion. Worse in summer.

Asimina triloba

Itching red pimples, appearing first on the left, then on right side. Pustular acne with itching in evening when undressing.

Asterias rubens

Acne at the age of puberty. Red pimples on side of nose, chin, and mouth. Without pliability and elasticity. Itching spots. Acne worse on left arm and chest. Enlarged axillary glands, worse at night and in damp weather.

Berberis Aquifolium

Acne, blotches, and pimples. Clear complexion.

Bovista

Hydrocotyle asiatica

Acne of face, when accompanied with uterine derangement. Great dryness of skin.

Juglans regia

Comedones and acne of the face that itch violently, when acne bursts, it forms thick crusts. Acne is associated with menstrual irregularities. Itching and eruptions of small red pustules.

Kali bromatum

It should be tried when Asterias rubens fails. Acne, popular eruption, ulcer with punched out edges with tendency to penetrate and tenacious exudation. Pustular eruption resembling small pox, with burning pain, itching with vesicular eruption. Itchy pustular eruption on face, chest, and shoulders. Acne developing in individuals after sexual excess. Acne with unsightly scars and menstrual irregularities.

Ledum palustre

Red pimples on forehead, and cheeks, stinging on touching. Sticking pain. Acne after suppressed discharges or after excess of alcohol. Acne with rheumatism.

Magnesia muriatica

Pimples on face and forehead, worse before menses and constipation.

Medorrhinum

Acne and pustules come out in blotches of reddish color during menses. Discharge from the acne has a fishy odor.

Mercurius sol.

Pimples around vesicular and pustular eruptions. Skin is always moist with viscid perspiration. Pimples oily and shiny skin. Itching, worse from warmth of bed.

Nabalus serpentaria

Pimples on the face, about the nose, upper lip and chin.

Nux juglans

Variously sized reddish pimples and pustules on the face, chiefly around the mouth. Large painful blood-boils on the shoulders, and in the hepatic region. Adapted to all stages of acne.

Pulsatilla nigricans

Acne at puberty, especially in girls who are overweight and have delayed menses. Acne from rich foods, fats, pork, pastries, desserts, and ice cream.

Radium bromide

Small pimples with itching, burning, swelling, and redness. Severe burning.

Sanguinaria canadensis 30

Acne with scanty menses. Burning and itching, worse by heat. Circumscribes red spots over malar bones.

Sarsaparilla
